U. Maliensis distribution...

HecticDialectics Jul 28, 2006 10:30 PM

I was wondering if anyone knew a more exact geographic distribution of malis than just northern Mali. As most of northern Mali and southwest Algeria is a real, pure desert with almost no vegetation, I was wondering if they tend to be on the outskirts of the desert closer to Tombouctu and Gao or if they are really further north around Kidal and Taoudenni. How far north and south are they actually found?

A good person to talk with is Bert Langerwerf of Agama International. He has been there collecting Uromastyx and at one time had a captive population of Maliensis
