Kingsnaken finds a Calvert, MD King!!!

ECC Jul 30, 2006 07:29 AM

Look at what "Kingsnaken" just flipped! I am down here again in Calvert County, MD with Derek (Kingsnaken) and my trusty sidekick, Kevin Castellucci.

Derek just flipped this in a debris pile off of Route 4. I was standing next to him and did not believe it when I heard the glorious battle cry, "KINGSNAKE!" from Derek.

See below the triumphant snake-hurdler with his king and also a pic of the snake "in situ".

These events transpired less than 10 minutes ago...

Hey NOW! Just because I used my tongs to try and pick up a worm snake. LOL! My excuse is shock and awe. That is better than saying I didn't what to do with it. Derek

I was afraid of the first king I ever caught.
I was also 12.

Then after catching her, I thought I had hurt her, because there was this smelly gooey stuff coming out of her vent.

You should talk Peter into letting you join us on one of our big trips. Come along and you should get several opportunities at redemption.

Once again...great job!

Since you boys stray far afield once r twice t' year, let's set up a Texas sized trip when ol' Blue King gets back from over yonder! I hear talk 'o tales from the east AND the west of snakes biggern' you kin shake a stick at! 'Course they could be rumers but I know fer a fact thar's some bigguns in the south! They may not be kings, but they are some uh the biggest baddest snakes I ever laid eyes on! And I knows whar' the polka-dot kings are! Still lookin' fer them cally-gasters and if'n I find one it should brang th' record back t' Texas as it's been borry'd by them cabbage apes in Kntucky!
