New Pastel Cross Produced

rkreptiles Jul 30, 2006 10:58 AM

OK we purchased a female Ball from a customer that had the female since she was a hatchling. She has nice blushing that looks like a Phantom or Mojave, she also has a belly resembling a yellow belly. We decided to breed her to our pastel 66% pos het ghost this year. We were happily surprised with what we produced. We produced 3 "normal sibling" (2 of which look like mom with orange ringer like bellies and the 3rd is similar but without the orange ringer belly), 1 normal Pastel Male, 1 Male Pastel Cross, 2 Female Pastel Crosses, and 1 that has yet to be sexed but looks to be a female (she has yet to be sexed because she has a huge YOLK still attached and we are worried about messing with her right now). Pictured are the 2 female crosses. These crosses look like awesome super pastels but are definitely not super pastels. Take a look at the pics and let me know what you think.

Rob, they look like nice Pastels to me, especially in the first two pics. The last pic, looks a bit "different" as far as pattern maybe, but hard to tell without a pic of the female or odd normal baby. Nice snakes though.

Here are a couple more pics of the 2 female crosses. It turns out the third cross is a female as well, so we ended up with 1.3 crosses, 1.0 pastel, 3.0 Sibling "normal". The male cross and 1 of the siblings are going into shed. I will post more pics of all the crosses when they shed.
