I'm a bit confused (situation normal). But I thought young abbotts were very dark, especially on the back end?

Beautiful snake. Pardon my drool.

the 2 so called oaks i bought looked darn near melanistic. I had some killer ones last year. But I had a bad event in my house with 1 cat. The cat was about to become burmese food.

But it is a cat and doing what cats do. I was surpized at the work it did to get into 2 cages. Sad ending, but I know I'm not the first.

Maybe in a few years, my kids will be on with their lives and I can make a real reptile room.
