OMG Check this OUT!!!

eekster Jul 30, 2006 10:11 PM

ok this is really not that interesting.

I've had many monitors the biggiest was a 4 1/2 ft give or take nile. True to form he was aggressive. No big I'm looking for a monitor that gets large and will tame down so to speak.

Ive had timors, savannahs, peach throats, gold tegu which is the worst reptile ever to keep.

I'm looking for a long time monitor that will get some size and tame down as a pet any sugestions.

I don't want a water monitor and I don't wanna spend 2to$500.00 on a monitor that get big but will be insane.

What is a happy medium large not a savannah or water. that will be a good pet worked with alot.

you name the title "OMG check this out!!!!!" if you just want to know what monitor you should get?

i say do some research and figure out for yourself. look into black and whitethroat monitors to start.

This big and larger to someone looking for an easier example to keep.

I wouldnt suggest peach throats from what Ive heard about them and how frail, and unforgiving they are.
Id suggest a flavi-argus, something hardy, tough, active, hungry all the time, a perfect example of what a monitor is and should be.

Wow - you have a lot of requirements! There aren't any guarantees with a monitor...try a Golden Retriever puppy and train it right.
