Bad Behavior

Hello, I have had my iguana for about a year now and he is still pretty young. The first few months I could take him out and handle him with ease. Now for some reason, the past few months he has been VERY agressive. He whips his tail and bites me pretty good. Should I just try to handle him ? Please any info would be great. I would love to calm him down again, I dont want him this mean when he gets bigger

Thanks,
JOE

I would just keep working with him.. mine did the same thing at around the same age but is beginning to calm down.

try handfeeding greens/greenbeans and taking him out a lot.

Keep working with him and don't be affraid,he will calm down finaly, though try not to push him to hard and stress him.Try to get close to him while he seems to be calm.Just stand there there calm in front of him for long periods, should work over the long term. The most important thing to iguanas is learning their body language and approach the right time with the proper way.And be sure that by noticing you around is enought to start making progress..
Cheers..
