Here's a Gulf Hammock for you. This guy was collected by me as a juvie in Levy County back in '99. He is now pushing seven feet!

How about this guy?...........collected about a quarter mile from the previous specimen.......also pushing seven feet. Trust me when I tell you that there is a lot of variety among "williamsi"!

Awesome looking snake! I bought a pair of his babies from you. Sadly, they didnt color up like that male as I had hoped. One tunred very dark brown all over, and the other not too shabby. No signs of the purple though.

"The more people I meet, the more I like my snakes"
Tom..........That dark male of mine is a unique animal. I've caught a few Gulf Hammocks over the years, and have only found one other that was similar to him. I have a holdback female that should be of breedable size next year. She is also very dark, and I will breed her back to her sire, and see what comes out. Don't despair, those genetics are in your pair. Gulf Hammocks have large clutches of eggs. When you breed your pair, you should have a couple of standouts that you can hold back.
Hey Steve, since my snake also came from you, via Terry P., was he fathered by the same snake as Tom's. And when are you going to breed the snake in the second photo you posted. I just love that pale gray coloring. They are great snakes.
Here's a few more that are unrelated from the nominate local, either directly (WC) or indirectly (offspring of WC).
.
1st - a young female obviously in the blue
2nd - Old male posted before.
3rd - Younger female
