Corn island boa, phase 2..

RioBravoReptiles Jul 31, 2006 07:52 AM

This Islas del Maize boa better displays some of the differences of what I am considering calling a Type II or phase 2 Corn island boa..
.

.
.. the entire animal is slightly more orange with a reduced saddle-count and elongated markings. They also still show the hypomelanistic tendencies of the better-looking Corn island snakes. It's a pretty boa.

Great lloking animal. I see that it has a reduction in pattern, saddles that is, making it even more interesting.
Thank you for the pics.

Thanks. I give first-look at most everything to my mail-list subscribers. If someone doesn't buy it first I probably will have that at Daytona.
