Sneak peak from yesterdays litters...

SurinameMan Jul 31, 2006 11:31 AM

One of my gravid females gave me the pre-birth waxy stool on Friday and was crusing her cage real hard during the day on Saturday, she was on day 109 POS, so I decided to stay up late Saturday night in hopes of photographing the birth. The hours went by and nothing so I went to bed at 3:15 am.

When I woke up at 11:30am on Sunday, I of course went straight to the snake room and sure enough there they were. As I start making a u turn to grab the camera, I notice that the plexi doors on my other gravid suri's cage was completely covered with condensation too.

Sure enough, her and her buddy decided to suprise me together.
One on day 110 and the other on day 108 POS.

What a treat!! I'll post more pics after they all shed.

Enjoy!!

Congrats Mr. Surinam Man! I just had some Peruvians myself this morning. I didn't stay up to watch them being born though. I was in the bed sleeping by 10:30 PM but then up at 6:00 AM. Babies!

I'm up by 5am or 6am. You know how it is. Work work work.

...just a little teaser pic to keep us salivating, huh? Congrats Alex! What a nice treat that must have been to wake up to - like Christmas five months early. Can't wait to see the rest of those beauties...from what I can see in the pic, this litter will not disappoint. Damn, look at those tails, those perfectly symmetrical saddles! Awesome!

I was late as it was.
