sorry guys my Gtp is not from O.S.
Im starting to pull my hair out trying to find where it could possibly come from... so i'll give you guys the run down.

I purchased my "jayapura"(im not big on locality these days but this is what it was labeled as)at the NY metro expo on July 9th '06. I bought it from Allen at Reptile Kingdom in Toms River NJ. He told me he puyrchased it from another breeder so I thought I would just e-mail him later to get info. He presumed it came from Eugene at O.S. so I emailed him and I got the response of. Sorry we didn't hatch any babies m=4 months ago and our locality type is mainly aru.

I know this sounds dumb but, somebody help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would put my money on it comin from Kams farm at Bushmaster. The vast majority of brokered chondros come from his facility in Indo.

If you got an animal from Eugene it would come with records and would be no doubt that he hatched it.

I went to the Reptile Kingdom web site and found that Allen has been in the reptile business for quite awhile and is working with a lot of captive bred snakes.

As a broker he may not want to give up his sources for these animals, I think it is fair for you to ask him to at least confirm that your snake was captive bred here in the USA. Most captive breds will start in the price range of about $400, that could be a clue to it's source also if you got a real bargain price.

In the meantime I would assume it is farm bred and take healthy precautions just in case. Are the stools loose and runny at all? Make sure you keep you baby well hydrated and no matter where the source, best wishes for your new snake!! The Jayas are one of my favorite locale types and I've got a couple of them here myself!!

He is deffinatly CB. I payed about 400 for him.
Allen told me he is not an import. So i assume he could be from any breeder.
