To you SoCal Herpers- A Question?

manog Jul 31, 2006 01:29 PM

Hey all,

I am in San Diego (north county.) We have had some rains over the past few days with some warm weather to go with it. Would this be good night driving? Let me know what you guys think?

Personally, I like driving at nigh immediately following a T-storm. But as for a few days following a T-storm, hmmm I'll pass.

There has been quite a bit of activity here on the Mojave, but NOT during the usual night drive times. Snakes are out from about 2Am to sunrise.

Ohh, that explains it. We went out night driving Saturday (29, July) in E. Palmdale, and saw only 1 DOR Great Basin Gopher.

Hows it going Reako? Where abouts in east Palmdale did you go? I've driven from Lake LA out to the end of the roads there (240th east or something) but didn't have a lot of luck.
