I am having trouble getting my adult scarlet kingsnake to eat. I have caught it approximately 6 weeks ago and it has not eaten but once. I have tried to feed it 2 pinky mice already, but both died before it attempted to eat it. When I tried to feed it the second time, I found out it was getting ready to shed. I looked up on some caresheets and realized it would not consume anything while shedding. However, it still will not eat and it seems a little thinner. Any suggestions?
