Komodo vs King Cobra in fight to death

mampam Jul 31, 2006 08:02 PM

Well-meaning scientists on a remote island discovered a "DNA matrix" which made maize plants grow enormous. Just 50,000 acres would feed the world! But the Army make them test the matrix on Komodo dragons and king cobras, causing them to grow to gigantic sizes and, predictably start killing people. As the few surviving humans escape in a convenient helicopter the two beasts are left with nothing to eat but each other. A terrible battle commences. I can't tell you the outcome without spoiling the film but I will warn you that neither beast looks as realistic in the film as they do in the promo. Using your biological intuition (and assuming the dragon is immune to the snake's venom and the animals weigh about the same), predict the likely outcome of this encounter. Please do not cheat by pitting real king cobras and Komodo dragons against each other.

I'm not sure the komodo is a komodo either, but I still think he'd win
