I have a small room where I keep my boas.

I use a space heater to heat the entire room. Therefore, I can only set the room temperature at one setting. Currenlty the room temp is set to 80 degrees.

In order to cool my snakes and change temps during breeding I will have to use the under-cage flex-watt heaters that I have to regulate differences in cage/room temps. I can regulate the under-cage heat as well as the lights with a timer.

What would be the best manner/pattern to start cooling the room? Should I turn the room heat down to 75 degrees and only have the under-cage heat on in cages during the day? Or, should I turn the heat down to 75 degrees and cut off the under-cage heat altogether.

All advice is greatly appreciated.
