nerik Aug 01, 2006 06:11 PM

Hi all,

I need your opinion on this one. My boa burnt himself this weekend but i could only see it on a photo as i m away from home. it s my best friend that take care of him. I think he burnt himself on the ceramic bulb, although it is well protected......i don t exactly know how it occured as i wasn t there. I need your opinion guys; is it a 1st or 2nd degree burn??? I think its a minor one but still it looks quite bad on the pic. Here is the URL link

You can find it the photogallery.

I said to my friend to desinfect the tank and use newspaper until i come back and to use hydrogene peroxine diluted in water on the burn and to apply some betadine once per day.

So what do you think????

Help would be much appreciated!!

Thanks a lot everyone!

Erik

Thank you Tom. Actually my friend took him to a vet who said it was just a minor injury...and that we should apply some isobetadine twice a day for 2 weeks and it should be fine,

Thank you for the link, i knew this site before and i think it s one of the most useful

Take care
