Give her warm baths several tmes a day.
Make sure she has a laybox she is comfortable in.
This can sometime get reluctant layers to lay.
Try to determine if she is really bound. Post pics of her abdomen.
If she is truly bound there is no effective home treatment I know of, and the longer you wait for vet care the more difficult it will be to get her unbound. If you catch it early enough the better chance you have of something like an oxytocin shot or two or three working, and avoiding surgery.
Left untreated, eggbinding is fatal.
Oh yes and make sure you have a dish of pure phosphorus-free calcium available for her at all times. Calcium deficiency can cause eggbinding.
I have a question.......how do you know a gecko is egg bound? and what exactly does that mean?????? The eggs are stuck?
Thanks
Red
Egg binding happens when a female leo doesnt have enough calcium, to small to breed, or from stress. When this happens the eggs stay inside the female, usually the only way to get them out is to gets shots, or surgery. Ways to prevent this are giving her a calcium dish 24/7, making sure their over 50 grams before breeding, and giving them privacy a couple days before they lay. I think that pretty much explains it. Ok i'm going to apoligize right now, i've had a VERY BAD weekend so i'm not really with it.
How would you know your female is egg bound? is it cause she is supposed to lay within a certain period of time and doesn't or does she exhibit specific signs that you can see through her skin?
Thanks for responding.......i'm sorry that i'm just not getting this right now

Your right about the first thing. Leos usually take between a week to 4 or 5 weeks to lay, and usually after that is when you start to worry. Egg bound leos will appear to be swollen around the waist, and you can sometimes see three or more eggs (the two havent been layed but more start to develope). I dont know alot about it, thats pretty much it. Dont worry about it either, thats what everyone is here for, answering questions, and nobody understands everything right away so ask all the questions you want.
