06 albino stripers (cal kings)

xbertmouser Aug 02, 2006 12:12 PM

they pipped their heads for three days. i was tempted to pull them out but let them do what they do. this is one that i am taken with and will keep. i love how the yellow is sprayed along the sides just like it's parents. i had eight eggs and seven hatched. the one that did not hatch had cuts on the top so i just left it alone. then today i thought i should take a look. the little guy was fully developed but was dead. my thoughts are that it just couldn't get its head out (for whatever reason) and drown in the egg.this is my first year breeding so anythought as to when you think i should have stepped in to help.i hate to lose the one but seven are healthy and looking great they got out ok did i do what you would have done?
