Moving, but I want to bring some Leos..

Okay.. I'm going home to Canada, so I'll be selling most of my geckos, except for maybe two or three. One problem, though.. I don't know what requirements need to be met to overnight ship geckos to Canada. I plan on going first, then getting my parents to ship them. Any suggestions? I'm going to do a search through agriculture Canada to see what I can find, but if any knows/has experience on doing this, please post. Also, would it just be easier to bring the geckos with me through Cargo? One time I tried to bring one in the cabin and that didn't work out so well, heh(That was when I was 15, I'm now 19). Anyway, any suggestions/info would be awesome. Thanks so much.

I am not sure about this, but after doing a few google searches, it seems like it may be expensive.

Check out this page: http://www.geckoranch.com/orders.html
It looks like the shipping charge to Canada is $100 - that is from California. This site is also good as it goes into a lot of detail about how her geckos are shipped in different weather conditions.

I would contact breeders in the U.S. and Canada to get advice - they are probably your most accesible and knowlegable resource concerning this subject.

Thanks very much, I'll be looking into this for sure. I called customs and surprisingly, no documentation is needed for lizards, so that's good.. We may end up driving to Canada, which will be simple as long as I bring along the right supplies. Thanks again!
