Today's Dumerils Litter! Great pics of the birth! **PICS**

BASICALLYBOAS Aug 03, 2003 02:20 PM

Hello All!
Today we had a nice litter of 14 perfect baby Dumerils! We were there again to view the entire birthing and got some great pics. The mother had them in the front of the cage, so we had to just reach in with the camera and take pics without aiming or focusing! LOL We got some good shots, but it took like 30 pics to get 10-12 good ones! It is neat to see the babies born and then crawl away and shed their first skin immediately.

Hope you like the pics and thanks for looking!

Nice looking Dums, Mike. Congrats to both you and Steph. What else are you expecting this year?

Best regards,

Hello,
She is around 5 1/2-6ft and housed in a 4'x2'x18" Melamine Cage. Our other female Dumerils that is also due this month is 8 years old and only measures about 50" and drops 10-12 babies every year for us! We are glad to have the smaller Dumerils, they can be housed in smaller cages and seem to breed every year!
Regards,
Mike
