partial to bright orange ones. Sorry the pics are so bad, I think I'm getting worst at it. It helps to have some ambient light. The florescent lights realy mess with everything.

I agree with you 100% Rick. Your pics will always come out better outdoors especially in a shaded area. I take ALL of my snake pics in my backyard "studio". I have a few lichen rocks I went and picked up from a friends property up in the local mountains. They are set up right outside one of my back doors so I just put my camera on the tripod frame the rock and then pose the snake the best way he/she will let me and snap the pics.
BTW all three of those leonis you posted are really nice but I still like those thin saddled ones you posted earlier, better.
Here's some pics I took last night.
2005 MSP from the Bodners

Vern my proven male I got from David Weymouth

Lester my 2003 Dan Vermyla male

My 2005 holdback female leonis

Emma a 2003 holdback and mother of my 4th clutch this year

Molten Velma my favorite female MSP. She's also the smallest of my adult females.

Man Chris, you have some smoking thayeri. That first MSP and that fourth pic of the greenish leonis are outstanding.

All three are gorgeous. As a bonus, that last thayeri has a neat head pattern.

I'm a head pattern person too. I think a nice head pattern really completes the snake. There are sooooo many variations with Thayeri it is really a matter of putting together pieces of the puzzle YOU like, looking for the results you are striving for, and revering the unexpected.

Bottom middle pic looks like bird of prey swooping in! Very cool!
