What Can Feed to My Iguana?

Paradon Aug 02, 2006 10:49 PM

I'm not new, and I've done research for my IG reading MK's website; you know www.anapsid.org. That site has the most of very useful information I have ever seen. I learn a lot about feeding my IG, and why it is important to feed it the MK diet. My IG loves the MK salad I make it for him, and I also put some cut up rehydrated alfalfa in the salad for my IG and he absolute loves the alfalfa in it. Sometimes, I would feed some green to my IG that I put in the Salad for it. Anyway, does anybody have any idea of what else I feed to my IG as part of his varied balanced diet. I would like to increase the varieties that he gets. So far I've been feeding it collard and mustard greens, and very occasionally dandelion green. Has anyone ever try rose's leaves? I have a lot of roses in my garden, and would like to feed it. I know rose's peddles can be given, and I know somebody giving rose's leaves to their tortoises, but what about an IG?
