what do you make of these patterns......

adamjeffery Aug 02, 2006 11:18 PM

these are 3 babies that my friend produced they come from miami phase parents and have a 3 generation liniage with this breeder. this is the first time something like this has popped out from this pair. the female came from an albino father and the father is now het for albino. i love these patterns. he is giving them too me to raise and breed and i will split the clutches with him. 2 of them are not eating but i can give them individual attention. he has a lot more snakes than i do.

please let me know if you have seen patterns like this before or if you have any insight into the genetics from a visual perspective.

Look like "Banded" corns to me. Great looking snakes. From what I recall it isn't a recessive trait, just a pretty one. Good luck with getting them to eat!

Snakes look great. I also have a question on the bedding. that wood stuff that is in little cubes. I see it in deli cups at shows, but never seen it for sale. Where do you get it?
