Southern Hognose Egg Question

I have a 24 inch wildcaught female southern hog that looked to be very gravid and I felt four lumps about 3 weeks ago then she shed and day by day she is getting softer feeling and the lumps aren't there anymore. I think she resorbed the eggs because she has a ton of weight on her and hasn't eaten in a couple of months. If she resorbed her eggs is that bad for her health? Thanks,Kevin
