Ok so I was watching Star Trek TNG holding my new garter snake and it gave birth in my hands! I didn't even know it was gravid! It had some sbumps on the right side though. I'm a cornsnake guy so i thought it'd be months before it could spawn. It shot out one worm sized baby. What can I expect? Will there be more? Plus the one that came out isn't moving that much is it normal? It had a yellowish puss around the buttocks when it was birthing.

Baby is doing fine moving around very active and since then the mother has shot out two more that are doing good except one is still attached to the placenta by the umbilical cord.
