thanks todd i will try to get an updated photo soon. his color has started to turn from gray to a coppery/gray. i did not expect this but is neat. the other one i have has kept the same gray so far.

Which subspecies of gopher is that?
It resembles the Pacific gopher snakes I use to catch, but so do a lot of the Sonoran gophers I see pictures of.

it is a bull snake that is het for whiteside. he is a big baby that can hammer down five adult mice in under 20 min flat. Russ Bates gave it to me a few months ago. if ever my boys and me had a "pet" snake this would be the one.

hey nice spotted bud. that is one of my three mex black kings. she is an 04 and has that chocolate color to it. this is a snake i picked up last year at the daytona expo. this year i would like to pick out a nice black milksnake. they look sweet and i want to see how they are compaired to the pueblans.
