Nice lookin' animal whatever it is . . .
But I thought this was the Kingsnake forum - not the Hybrid forum. . .???
Ok, just to go along with this one:
Pic of my six foot hybrid eater (also from GA.)... hahahaha- Don't worry, just kidding! I don't feed ANY snakes to my kingsnakes unless they're deformed. (This one only eats large rats) . . .
Nice snake still. . . (what's it crossed with?)

That ol' thang!? It's an '03 MBK I rescued from a pet shop. All my others are from Tom. This one has a little bit of pattern showing but Tom's are midnight! From the egg! One little white soul patch, lol! Hurry up n git home 'cause it ain't rainin' gbk's and I only have one more in me this year, need my lucky rabbit's foot or somethin"!

1lb or 2lb, Let's see a pic.
That will have to wait a little while, sorry about that. I am currently overseas (Kuwait) and my wife is not fond of taking pictures of snakes eating - much less watching them. She puts the F/T rats in there and walks away!!! Talk about missing out on all the fun!!! I like watching him eat!
When I do return I WILL take a pic of him eating a large rat for all to see! I should have plenty of time, since he's only eight years old this year!

Kuwait! how can you stand to be that far away from from your snakes, seen any cool ones over there?
So far, only a sandboa. But he is pretty one. It's amazing to have even seen anything at all. Current temps here: 120-125 daytime 92-96 at night. This place is HOT! HOT! HOT! So hot that all the stores close from 1 - 5 every day to avoid the heat! It's hard just to walk out here for more than 5 minutes ,until the sun sets. But yes, I HATE being away from my snakes!!! I am only doing this because the money is GOOOOOD!!!

I'm curious as to the genetics behind that gorgeous snake - how much of each etc.?
Who bred it?

You guys crack me up.
Actaully you guys are not to far off with the central GA area have diverse snakes.
So tell Zee that the W/C hybrids maybe plentiful in central GA.
Someone that stole a large part of my collection 2 months ago told DNR that they released them into the wild.
So you will find:
Hypo hondurans
Extreme hondurans
Peanut Butter Florida kings
Jelly Florida kings
Speckled king X Everglades ratsnakes
Apalachicola x hypo brooks
ect ect ect
42 yearlings
10 adults
100 eggs
about 100 eggs were taken that hatched may have hatched in the wild or were held before release. One of these was three large clucthes of the PB x axanthic brooksi breeding...
...so there might be a few Phantom brooksi cruising the area.
Chocloate bannana kings I used in a cross with a Pueblin x amel bannana Cal king. The babies are awesome and I am holding onto them.
For those that are not familiar with the Choc bannana king they are deirived from pure cal king morphs blizzard and bannan cal king. So they are het for amel as well. I only got 4 babies from this breeding with the pueblin x cal and they are all normal hets. I still like them though.
Man talk about a swift kick square in the nutts!
That's a HUGE # of animals missing in a collection and morphs maybe roaming in the wild... man i don't even have the words to express my disgust! Karma is a B!TCH, it'll come back to bit that individual in the ass 20x Harder!
try to stay positive!

I bred my Chocolate Banana x Chocolate Banana this year and she laid 4 bad eggs.
Last year I tried breeding my Chocolate Banana to one of his Banana sibling females that I also got from Don Shores, they didn't do anything, so.... I ended up breeding her (Banana) to a double het (albino & mendota-hypermelanism) and found out she is het for albinism.
This year my male Chocolate Banana did breed her (Banana) and she produced a few nice bananas and a Chocolate Banana. Two eggs didn't hatch and they were a Chocolate Banana and a patternless albino. So she is also a double het (albino & hypermelanism). My male Chocolate Banana is het for albinism. I will find out next year if my female Chocolate Banana is het for albinsm or not.
I e-mailed Don Shores yesterday and he also produced some albinos from his Chocolate Banana x Chocolate Banana project. He also said he bred his Chocolate Banana to a melanistic (not sure which strain) and produced ALL melanistics.
Next year I will breed my Chocolate Banana to a Mendota.
How about some pics of those you just mentioned?

Kerby...
Dude, that blows. Sorry to hear that. It is really unfortunate that there are @#@#% stupid people like that. We have to be really careful here at the vet hospital because PETA freaks have come and vandelized research labs, destroying thousands and thousands of dollars of equipment, and releasing research animals, not to mention the time and energy that goes into these projects. If they only new how much crap we have to go through. Its a shame we can't use them for research.

I'm sure you've told the story before. Did someone actually break into your home and steal all those snakes with the intent to release them? Did you have the police check for finger prints? I sure hope they catch the wing nut that did it! What the hell is going on with our world? I don't get it! It seems as if all the crazies have taken over! I'm really sorry to here that this has happened. Good Luck!
