first shed???

How will i now when my hatchling has its first shed?

You may not know. If you constantly check your babies you may see them get a clouded over look that indicates they are about to shed.

However I leave newborns alone for a week after they hatch, and only check their water and humid hides. After their first week I offer about 5 mealworms in a shallow dish.

I forgot to say that their first shed usually happens within a week after hatching.
