I Need some Info.

I am looking to start breeding snakes eventually, but don't really know a whole lot about it. I was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction to find out everything about it and how to do it. Thank you very much.

I would suggest first decide what species you want to breed and then do as much research as possible. It takes little effort to breed healthy, well cared for reptiles. For the most part, reptiles are seasonal breeders. They know when to breed and have babies, and will, given proper care. Plenty of research before you purchase will help you to be successful.

It would definately be Dumerils Boas, because that is what I have right now. One at least. Absolutely gorgeous though, better than most I have seen. I just don't know where to look to find out exactly what I need.

It often takes little effort to get healthy captives to breed... But taking care of a whole lot of babies is another story

Make sure that you will have time to feed and clean a much larger collection once you have babies.

Dumerils boas arn't necessarily hard to breed, but the babies often need experienced care to get feeding. Check out the boa forums on this site and perhaps ask the breeder where you get your next boa. This is indeed a beautiful species
