Can you reccomend a breeder?

Hello to all, I am looking to get into some of the more moderately sized boas. The brazilian rainbows are an obvious choice due to thier beauty, reasonable cost and size. I have kept some of the larger pythons for years and have recently sold my collection of six snakes to a local friend and hobbist. My girlfriend and her two cats have moved in with me and with our plans for marriage and children we thought it best. Can you reccomend quality breeders of rainbows? I would also appreciate your opinions on other boas I could research. Thanks alot.

I would recomend Head Hunter Reptiles...

www.headhunterreptiles.com

Thats where I got my female from, and its TOP NOTCH!!!

I would also recomend Dwarf boas, such as some of the island boas (Hog Island...Cay Caulker....Sonoran Desert Boa, some of the Nicaraguans..) Most of the Central American Boas stay smaller than other Boas. BUT....Brazilians have both Size and BEAUTY that make them stand out, I LOVE our Brazilian. Good luck picking a boa out...

....I have been breeding snakes since 1964 and Rainbow Boas since 1993 and I have never met anyone who breeds Rainbow Boas that I would not want to deal with. I have bought from, sold to and traded with many different breeders and I recommend them all.
....On the other hand, many of the people who wheel and deal snakes and want you to think that they are breeding all the snakes they have for sale are not so trustworthy.

Jeff Clark. A pleasure to do business with. He seems to love his snakes more than the paychecks he gets from them. Where else are you gonna find a Campina Grande(assisi)? It seems to me that, the more a breeder enjoys keeping and learning about his/her snakes, the better looking and healthier his specimens are. Talk to several breeders before you buy, stay away from petstores!
