Guy or girl?

Nightflight Aug 04, 2006 05:20 PM

Well, with a little juggling I managed to get a photo for sexing purposes. Not the clearest shot but it's a bit hard to hold a gecko in 1 hand and focus a camera in the other.

Anyway, the 2nd photo below shows what looks like pores though it's hard to know if they're "dimples" that females sometimes have.

Any guesses?

I'd say its a girl.

I second that! I say it's a girl!

Well... that being the case this one will likely get renamed

Currently his (er... I mean her) name is Wallace (of Wallace and Gromit fame). Owing to her emerging "patternless" color she may end up being known as Olive.

Given the odds, Gromit's probably a girl as well (based on usual pet store sex). Can't seem to pick Gromit up yet to tell. Very skittish when compared to Wallace's (a.k.a. Olive's) disposition.

Thanks for the help!

I would watch guessing female because of the rumor that most pet stores have almost all females. I bought 3 normals from a local pet store to out breed my leo projects, all 3 turned out to be male.
