Seriously now,lol! hav'nt you heard of people feeding rabbit pinks and fuzzies to large colubrids, it makes them super huge.
when are you gonna post pics of those celaenops or do i have you mixed up with someone else.

A friend of mine (Scott Koontz) and a friend of others on this forum ..(produces some Eastern kings), breeds birds for snake food. They breed easier and they make the snakes grow faster. I am going to start breeding them when I get another house. Its something I have been wanting to do for a while. Takes the smell away and the snakes grow like they are on vitamin S.

Unfortuantly I cannot recall what species of bird but they breed like mice w/o the smell. Make for some larger meals as well.

Could it be that variety of "mini" quail?

Yes they are quail.

I know a guy that use to raise quail to feed to his kings. But I also have a guy at work that raises chickens and has asked if I wanted any of his chicks that he was culling. I havent tried yet but it is a thought.

I don't know about chickens but he has had great results with quial.

The way that boy eats i think he would eat anything he could overpower or smelled like food. Onetime he swallowed my best finger entirely! Gotta love him anyway tho,lol!
