Some questions about some feeder insects

wspatterson Aug 04, 2006 09:13 PM

I saw a web site selling phoenix worms, silkworms and 1/2-1" long superworms. Do you recommend these critters for a leopard gecko?
Thanks!

Yeah, I would buy them if I have the chance to vary my leos' diet. It's good to varied their diet. I heard silkworms are especially good for them. You should try to vary their diet if you can. You can even turn on the porch light at night to attract some soft body insects like moths; just make sure they don't come from areas, like agriculture area, that use a lot of pesticides. I would keep it in the jar over night, and if after 24 hours it didn't die, you can feed it to your leos.
