rubbermaid/sterilite housing

Hi all, I just rescued a juvenile Columbian redtail today, and I've moved her from the tiny 10g aquarium she was in to a much roomier 40quart sterilite. I'm concerned about being able to keep up the right humidity, and I'm trying to figure out how many holes to drill for ventilation, and where to drill them at...

any suggestions? I don't want to overdo it.

If you open the tub once a day that's enough "ventilation" so work backwards from there. A tub will hold too much humidity with no holes, so start with one or two on each side, and use a hygrometer (available at most snake suppliers) to see after a day if it is perfect yet. If it's more than 80% or if there is a lot of condensation then try some more holes. The rest depends on things like the relative humidity of the room, and if you have a soaking pool inside and other stuff so just experiment.
