Cage Size

daweydd Aug 05, 2006 03:39 AM

I just got a little baby Bearded dragon today and he is about 4-5 inches long. i have hin in a 1gallon tank right now. I have a tank for when he gets older i just dont use it Because i was told that if the cage is too big then he might not be able to find the food. But I was wondering if that is ok that he is in the 10 gallon tank for now

10 gal tank is fine for the little guy for now, however you will need to get a bigger tank in a few months. Or you can buy/make his adult size cage (min of 4'x2'x2' though height can be a bit less) and use a divider to size down the cage till your dragon grows big enough to have more space.
