Oh I just emailed you asking for pictures! I forgot there were pictures here! Please disregard the question for pictures. In fact, disregard all the questions. I even asked if they hatched yet. Man, I'm not myself today lol.

thank you. i bred my male albino striper to five females this year because i pulled a male out of the breeding project due to a nasty growth on his analplate. he is better now but i missed out seeing the tri stripers this time around.the albino striper puts a brite yellow into the mix. next year is going to be even more exciting because i will have a pair of 04 chocolate spotteds het for albino that i will be breeding/putting together.this is the funnest hobby i have ever had. now i just got to convince my wife to let me keep them all.

thank you john. my boys ages 6 and 7 want to keep every one of the hatchlings and to prove it they helped me clean all of the cages today heehee. josh age 7 got bit by the choc spotted. she took his whole index finger into her mouth and threw coils around his wrist. boy he screamed bloody murder! she was clamped down and not letting go. i uncoiled her and she finally let him go. mommy fixed him up and he was right back into the thick of it. when they ask me if a snake will bite i say, (all snakes bite). they seem to think that all cal kings bite and will now hang out with the mex blacks and the thayeri.

Dunking the hand inside a bucket of cold water often pursuades the snake to let go by themselves.

cool i will keep that in mind. i didn't want to pry it open but then again it was my little boy. but he calmed down and she let go on her own. josh understood why it bit him and has not had any nightmares or anything like that. they are snake crazy fools just like me.
thanks for the tip. i will pass it on to josh hehe.
