Cricket Feeding

Hello i just recently purchased 1000 crickets offline and they came yesterday. Too bad i bought the 1/8 size which is way to small for my little guy i bought the 1/4 for next time Just wondering if anyone knows what to do about water for these guy for the time being until i get to the pet store for some kind of water for them. I am feeding them dog food and potatoes right now any other ideas anything would be appreciated and also how do you go about feeding the bearded dragon these little guys cant pick them up becuase they die if you go to grab because there so small there about __ that big any ideas would be great when i put him in the huge tube the crickets are in he doesnt seem to like that which i cant blame him haha. Any ideas would be great thanks DREW

1/8th sized crickets will grow, depending on how fast you use them. Just feed more to your dragons (being small, drop them into a dish or bowl to keep them from running all over the tank but your dragon can get to them easily).

I find the best and easiet way to water crickets is provide them with plenty of fresh vegetables and greens. What you are offering right now is not good. Crushed dog food is fine as a protien source, but crushed low fat cat food is better. In addition to this, give them fresh greens (same assortment of greens and vegetables dragons need to eat is perfect). SLices of oranges, potatoes, squash or carrots are great to give moisture for crickets. Lightly misting the greens also gives water for your crickets. Don't mist in the cage, tiny crickets can down in droplets of water or get stuck on them.

remember to gutload them with stuff called "total cricket bite" or cricket gutload, along with the veggies and cat food. its the green cube stuff you can find in most pet stores and online
