changing UVB bulbs how offen???

how offen should i change my UVB bulbs in my bearded dragon tank

Every 6-9 months is best to change UVB bulbs. Though they still give out light, UVB emmition decreased rapidly after 5-6 months of use.

Look into mercury vapor uva uvb heat bulbs they are a little expensive bur last alot longer. Also you will have to research a little to find out proper distance depending on the size tank and bulb you use 100watt usually 12inches and 150watt 18 inches min they also come in spot and flood styles. I use a 150 watt spot at 18 inches with a 150 ceramic heat emmiter to reach the proper temp in a 75 gallon tank
