Well, I would not say I'm exactly working with them, but I have one really nice large male pic and hopefully will be getting a female tomorrow if the deal goes through. Copperheads are the only hots I keep and would love to breed the pics.

I've had other pitvipers, and one Texas coral snake for a short period of time but I didn't enjoy staring at them for hours on end like I do the copperheads.

that is the only venomous that has ever tagged me! My wife made me get rid of them after that...which is a good thing...after all they are illegal where I live...did here that the guy that has them now says they are doing well...do not know if they bred...they sure were great looking animals!

I've kept a few, found lots in the wild. I have lots of laticinctus locally and there is very little difference between the two.
They are fast to flee, fast to bite, beautiful snakes.

What do you want to know on them?
