Mold on egg....what to do?

stephluvsgeckos Aug 05, 2006 03:27 PM

I noticed a mold spot on one of my fertile gecko eggs and i was wondering what to do. I took a q tip and gently scrapped off as much mold as i could. is this really all i can do? also what would cause mold to grow on a good egg? I did not notice it on any other eggs.

You might be able to get rid of it by sprinkling Dr. Scholl's ahteletes foot powder on it. It could have happened due to a tiny crack that allowed a little bit of yolk to seep out.

To much humidity your others might start to mold also just keep the humidity to a point that it doesnt mold and the eggs dont sag... good luck
