Thanks, Billy! Unfortunately, only half the clutch hatched (7 of 14) and three that hatched had tail kinks. Based on what I've read on the forum, I started out with my temp too high (82-84), and though I dropped it part way through, it was probably too late. I've also been told the person I got the female from had similar problems with his hatchlings, so it may have something to do with the genetics. Here's a pic of mama -- she was bred with a 7' albino male a friend of mine has.

Geeze now you got me freaking out! I just got a clutch of eggs about three weeks ago i was only half heartidly expecting and i've had them around or above 85 degrees pretty much the whole time. my high/low thermometer reads at 93 for the high in my kitchen yesterday where they are located!!! i was out of town and left off my air conditioning and didn't think it would get near that hot. i think i'm going to move them gradually into my dining room where it is a little cooler or is that a bad idea? now i'm all paranoid about birth defects!!! anyone have any good news for me?

I've got a friend that always incubates his bull eggs in the 80s F and never has a problem. I would suggest you post your question again above and see what answers you get. Good luck!

Thanks. yeah I posted it at the top a few days ago. I don't think I should be too worried though. I've brought their temps down some and I think my thermometer is reading a little hot anyway.
