"Fine Line Boas"

boaphile Aug 05, 2006 06:37 PM

We were fortunate to have a litter of "Fine Line" Boas the other day. This Fine Line female was in the middle of giving birth when I found her. She was pushing down an enormous lump of babies. Most of the time females just push a small amount at a time but this lump was huge! I had to take a picture of it:

I just love to catch them giving birth. Lots of babies all over the place!

I just love these things! They are so beautiful! Nineteen babies total from a slow grown seven year old 6' female. She took two rats today and will bounce back very quickly.

Congratulations on yet another successful litter this year Jeff! Those babies all look big and healthy.

It has been a couple years since you have produced any more Fineline boas....I am wondering what other surprises The Boaphile has up his sleeve this season.

Very nice Jeff, I tip my hat to the years of selective breeding you've put into that project! Dan

Congrats. I always get a kick out of actually watching the babies being born. The fine line boas look like you are going to killer little babies.

Congrats
