What do you want to know?

I have one about 5 1/2 feet long and it eats medium sized rats. Very tame. Hisses at times, is almost solid black.

When I first saw him for sale in a pet shop he was a miserable muddy brown looking creature. Very ugly. A year later he had grwon subnstantially and was nearly solid black - about 2 1/2 long. I bought him then and never regretted it. Great animal. Very massive body.

If I knew how to post a photo I'd post some digital pictures of him/her (?)

I love Black Pines. I have 1.2 Escambia Co. (FL) pines. They are huge and have a better feeding response than any other snakes that I have ever kept except for certain L. getula. Send me an email if you ever want to talk about Black Pines.

Thanks,
Michael
