What combo made the original Salmon Boa?

ghireptiles Aug 05, 2006 10:02 PM

I can't find anyone who knows anything about Panamanian boas. I have heard that the original Salmon boa was produced from a hypo Panamanian x Colombian. Anybody have any ideas?

That is the reported history. Go to Rich's site, he has the genetics article he wrote on the Salmons there, and it covers the full history of the project. He always answers questions as well.

See if you can find anything from Dr. Hardy. He brought in Hypo Panamanians and kept his stock C.A.

Jeff Ronne's forum is a great place to check also. I know there was a sticky post on there titled origins of hypos in the US, or something allong those lines.
