Hostile Cranwell's

We got this guy a month ago, and he was pretty docile. Pretty sure he is a male. He would try to avoid you when you cleaned the cage and hop away. Well this changed a week ago. Granted we only interact with him about twice a day with misting and feeding, the rest of the time is just us observing him. But he has started to act extremely aggressive. When my son started to spray him and his tank he puffed to twice his size and made a sound that was kind of a hiss crossed with a croak. He would also lunge at us and basically act like a rabid dog. We weren't put off by it but find it very interesting. I have read they could be aggressive but I have never read of them posturing and making threatening noises. Just wondered if this is normal. Oh, he wasn't mistaking us for food of that I can assure you.

Yeah, I've read and heard about this type of defensive behavior but none of my pacman frogs have ever displayed it. I figured since they were captive breed and were continuously around people that they became comfortable with us and didn't see us as a threat.

Is this a juvenile frog or an adult? I guess my concern would be that the frog constantly feels threatened when around people and that this is causing it stress. Also, I would worry about being bitten while trying to moving the frog for cleaning, etc., as they have tooth like objects in their mouth and can inflict a nasty bite.
