Shipping snakes

This isn't a Burmese-specific question, but I figure some of you will be able to answer this for me. What are the logistics of shipping a non-venomous snake? I'm trying to sell an 8-foot boa, and someone is interested, but I would have to ship it. I'm not opposed to shipping at all; just never done it.
