Cage Cleaning?

JohnnyRed Aug 06, 2006 03:37 PM

I was powerwashing my wifes engine after an oil leak was repaired and using Simple Green, it is an excellent grease remover.

I was noticing the smell is not bad and was not strong so I looked at the bottle and it says non toxic.

Anyone use it to clean their igs housing? Does non toxic mean it is safe around animals?

Yeah, non-toxic means it is safe for animals and people, environmentally friendly.

Using the none toxic cleaner is very important, as some IG are not discriminate when it comes to what they eat. My IG will eat the alfalfa alone with a little bit of winter squash and some fruit mixed in. I tried that because I ran out of greens and vegetable to make the MK salad, and surprising he ate it for about 3 days straight before I could get him new vegetables. But he does have a favorite. He loves the greens, especially the mustard green, and then the collard, and he eat especially a lot of it with the salad mix in. I just leave the green in large tear off pieces because it gives him something to work with.
