Well, my husband already said "NO MORE GECKOS!", but I couldn't resist this little fellow. His name is Rico and I think he's a cutie. I'm curious as to what he is - just a pretty normal? Also, while I'm asking for identification, might as well see if anyone can tell me what type of albino Mandy is. THANKS!!!

Rico looks like a nice hypo tangerine and mandy is likly a tremper albino. Most pet store only end up with the trempers.
The only way to be 100%positive is to prove it out by breeding but i would say tremper.

No way Rico is normal, beauty of a gecko though, I'm jealous.
As for mandy.. I'm not sure if I'd say Tremper.. I haven't checked his stock in a long while, and of course blood lines get confused after a long while of being bred around.. but I'm leaning more towards Rainwater.. or maybe even Bell..
Trempers in my observation have a great deal of brown "freckles" with Rainwaters being a cleaner yellow and pink, sans the Leopard spots. though not quite patternless..

Sorry if I'm not making any sense, it's been 2 and a half years since I've gone through Leo genetics... too busy keeping up with Teids, Varanids, and Boids..

But from plain comparison between my Male Rainwater and Male Tremper Giant.. I'd still say Rainwater

I had been leaning towards Tremper for Mandy, but she just didn't quite look like the ones I've seen in pictures. She has zero spots and definitely no brown freckles. Even as a tiny baby, she was completly clean - no brown, and even now, her stripes have not turned into spots. So I thought maybe she was a different type, but I admit total ignorance in all things leo morph related! I'll have to look up some Rainwaters pics.

Thanks for the compliment on Rico! He was just way too nice to leave in that nasty little Petco tank! He is spoiled rotten now in his 10 gallon paradise. When I left for work this morning, he was asleep on his rock cave under his heat lamp - I actually envied him for a moment!
