Next is the Northampton county king I found and photographed in the wild a few weeks ago.

And lastly some Northampton County neonates from a female collected under the same tin.

Honestly she was to ugly to photograph! Not so much color or pattern wise but she never got ride of the post hibernation blisters wild eastern sometimes come out with. As one of these was on her face I never even tried getting a picture.
Some of us have all the luck! Only one chocolate splendida so far and one Calhoun co, Texas holbrooki this year. Fall will tell all! Nice, very nice!

Nice looking king, and nice work on the rescue. Wide banded getula with high contrast have always been a favorite of mine.
