Syna's Recovery (du warning pics ahoy)

badkittyamy Aug 07, 2006 11:08 PM

So when I first got Syna he tail was pretty nasty looking and she wouldn;t eat anything, her poop was watery and nasty but she soon laid two eggs (infertile of course) but still wouldn't eat.
So I decided that the next week I was taking her to a vet to be seen. However after returning from a friend's house from a weekend visit I found her fat and happy. A happy mommy am I. Pics below to see the change from ematiated tail to plump an happy.

Sick and not eating in her humid hide

Still sick and glaring at me

Most recent photos after a shed and looking fat and happy

hehe Pretty girl isn't she now that she isn't on the hollywood diet.

Beautiful gecko! Glad it worked out! Cheers!

How old is it? Looks like it is just a juvenile.

she's just a little over a year old now her hatch date was listed as 7/8/05 so her 1 year birthday was just last month, I've only had her for a few months myself though. I purchased her about 12 weeks ago, my it seems far longer than that.
I'm hoping by next breeding season she will be up to weight and I can try breeding her with my tangerine male Grissom, I think they would make some gorgeous babies together, but I'll only breed if she is up to weight at the time.

A very nice looking leo. Looks like you've done an awesome job bringing her back up to weight!
