i work alot. anyway, last week my vet did some barium test on walter and midge to make sure their bowels were working ok. the test was done by an intern as practice so it was free. midge came home yesterday and walter is still at the vet with jolly now. she has been sneezing lately. she wanted to keep walter a bit longer to help his yeast infection in his mouth. he has been there all week and weekend, he has probably forgotten who i am, ha ha.

gertie is being sent off to a virologist (?) she used some word like that

That was a smart thing the vet did sending her , they study virus's and diease.
That should tell you alot, hopfully. May help you now with the others, or perhaps even in the future with other lizards, and also help the rest of us , if she had something, 9something others can watch for.)

Geesh been a long haul hunh kido, you have certainly gone the extra mile to find out whats going on, thats a positive thing.

I always suspected that mine died because of a virus, because it spread so easily to all of the lizards, even those that weren't caged together; and they were treated for everything they could BE treated for (parasites, bacteria, protozoa, environmental factors, etc.) My vet was not equipped to diagnose a viral infection, though, so I never found out for sure what it was.

I hope you get some answers.
